Today, Sarah and her bike mate Joey Karp, are Pedaling for a Purpose. They are planning to bike 4,000 miles from New York City all the way to Los Angeles. Starting on on June 25th, 2017 they have the goal to make it to California by September 11, 2017.

A Long Island native, Sarah is a former volunteer for The INN (The Interfaith Nutrition Network) and knows about the good work they do, giving back to the community. Today, she is pedaling to support The INN and their work to fight hunger and homelessness.

According to Sarah, “Essentially, I decided that I wanted to make a change in my life and do something to help people. I want to shift into commercial acting/commercial modeling and so my life is at a crossroad right now. This seemed like the perfect time to invest my energy into planning a trip I’ve always wanted to do and helping others while on my journey could only make it better.”

With the goal of raising $25,000, Sarah has already raised more than $11,000. Now, she’s asking everyone to take the ride with her!
